A light current Electrical Engineer by training, served his first few years as a professional with companies including ESKOM, Plessey and Business Connection. He was instrumental in the formation of Dimension Data’s Pubic sector Business Unit which saw the early stages of transformation in the organization. Makgoale joined Vula investments in 2010 and serves as CEO of one of the groups subsidiaries, Telsaf Data (Pty) Ltd.

Shambi is an Executive Director of Vula Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd. She joined the company in 2003 as a non- executive director and became an executive director in 2014. Today she serves as Managing Director at Vula Green Energy (Pty) Ltd., one of the groups’ subsidiaries. She’s read a Marketing degree with UNISA and an MBA with Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. She is a shareholder at Vula Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd and plays a key role in setting the direction of Vula Investments Growth Strategy. She is a member of the South African Independent Power Producers Association (SAIPPA).

He oversees the ongoing development and monitoring of the company’s assets. He holds a BCom (NMMU), BCompt Hons (UNISA) and is a CA (SA). He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and a member of the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants in Southern Africa.
